The smart title belies the serious achievements of this collaboration which offers a selection of finely crafted original material and classic songs from across genres, including: Soul, Motown, funk, R&B, stax, jazz, blues and pop.

A semi acoustic trio with Nell Hubbard, Jack and Johnny playing a mellow set where a full band would perhaps be too much. Very much suited to the more intimate environment.

Playing and singing songs that can take off into dance rhythms to suit the party mood. Jack & Johnny provides a wonderfully subtle accompaniment picking, funking, jazzing and strumming their instruments, while crooning backing vocal harmonies to Nell’s exquisite vocal performance.

Your guests may want to get up and slow dance to Nell’s sultry soul sounds, or move to Motown, or maybe just sit and listen to the relaxing rhythms of The South West’s leading function/party trio.

Nell Hubbard – this remarkable young singer-songwriter was fronting the Johnny Fuller Band from 2004 to 2007. She has delighted audiences with her highly original versions of classic songs as well as her own material.

With both natural charm and an almost hypnotically seductive quality, Nell’s voice has unusual power and depth; she draws on diverse influences ranging from Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones to Aretha Franklin and Joss Stone.

Nell is also a talented actress and musician who plays piano, saxophone and clarinet. At sixteen she was spotted by entrepreneur Peter de Savary who, recognising her precocious talent, gave her a singing residency at his exceptional Bovey Castle Hotel. While at College, she won the much-coveted Musician of the Year Award.

Nell has worked extensively with Johnny Fuller with whom she’s made a number of recordings re-working classic songs and including original material composed and performed by both herself and Johnny.

Nell is at this time studying full time at University in Birmingham, England.

She will be available for a limited number of performances in 2008.
